A systems administrator for 10 years, his original experience was with “swat-team” style flights into data centers to fix broken servers. Now he’s the professional services project manager for a startup software vendor, on the road at least 3 days a week.
Her:
She never flew in an airplane until she turned eighteen. Now she’s got eight years (and counting) of business travel under her belt. Amanda has more experience in the traveling-salesperson style: schlepping across the Midwest in a company car, overnighting in low-end hotels. Now she travels at least once a month for work and focuses on keeping sane, balanced, and getting things done efficiently.

While separated, they stay in contact via voice, video, and verse. They have been together over 10 years, married for over 5, and still like each other.
